Hi Kate. Thanks for the compliments! I think your Mr. Potato Head turned out great. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the family!
If my son had been a crawler I would have considered making him Slinky Dog, since his name is Lincoln and we sometimes call him Linky. I don't know quite how I would have made that costume, though! He loves horses, so I "toy"ed with the idea of making him Bullseye, or Woody riding on Bullseye, but that just seemed way too complicated. I was happy with the alien.
The Little Green Alien head was from an animal pattern: http://s.ecrater.com/stores/36434/4a940d6a51adf_36434n.jpg. I made the monkey costume a few years ago (minus the obnoxious furry trim). Since I already had the pattern I just modified it for the alien. I didn't buy any patterns for this costume!
Aren't those Grosgrain dresses beautiful? She amazes me! I'm glad you found me.
I love the song playing on your blog. It's of my favorites. We've been listening to the Primary songs a lot this week to help learn the words for the upcoming program.
Sorry for the novel of a comment! I would have emailed you, but I couldn't see an email address on your profile.
